| In addition to original watercolors and oil paintings, we are pleased
to offer signed and numbered limited edition giclée prints. It has been quoted that
giclées are the fastest growing area of today's fine art market. The giclée process was
originally developed in the 1980s, and the term giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) comes from
the French for "to spray on" or "to spray ink". These exceptional
quality, fine art prints are printed on 100% watercolor paper with the highest quality
lightfast dye inks to produce a lasting work of art that is nearly impossible to
distinguish from an original watercolor. Compared to more traditional forms of
printmaking, giclées offer a much greater apparent resolution than lithography, a wider
color range than serigraphy, and a longer life span. |
