| In addition to original oil paintings, pastels, monoprints, and
watercolors we are pleased to offer signed giclée prints. The giclée process was
originally developed in the 1980s, and the term giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) comes from
the French for "to spray on" or "to spray ink". These exceptional
quality, fine art prints are printed on archival paper with the highest quality inks to
produce a lasting work of art that is nearly impossible to distinguish from an original.
Compared to more traditional forms of printmaking, giclées offer a much greater apparent
resolution than lithography, a wider color range than serigraphy, and a longer life span. |
